Timur Ergen
I am director of the Institute Labor and Economy (iaw) at the University of Bremen, Germany. My research focuses on comparative social analysis, technological change, and institutions in capitalist societies. I received my PhD from the International Max Planck Research School on the Social and Political Constitution of the Economy (IMPRS-SPCE) and was a senior researcher at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies (MPIfG) from 2015 to 2025. I am a member of the Executive Council of the Society for the Advancement of Socio-economics (SASE) and co-organize SASE’s Network J: Digital Economy.My Curriculum Vitae has more detail, if you need it.
